Understanding Domain Transfer Statuses in your 101domain Account

Domain transfer statuses indicate the current state of your domain moving between registrars. You can view your domain’s current transfer status by logging into your 101domain account.

Below is a guide to each transfer status and what it means for your domain:

Status

Description

New Transfer

Your Domain transfer order has been created, but payment has not yet been received. In order to start the transfer, please make sure to find and pay the invoice through your 101domain account.

Transfer Sent to Registry

Your Domain transfer has been ordered and paid. We are now awaiting action from 101domain’s transfers team to initiate the transfer.

Transfer In Pending

Your Domain transfer has been successfully initiated and is currently pending

Transfer Documents Needed

Additional documents are required to proceed with your transfer. For exact documents and requirements needed, please submit a support ticket through your 101domain account and our Transfers team will further assist you.

Transfer In Needs Code

The authorization code (also known as an Auth Code, EPP Code or Transfer key) for your domain transfer was not received or is invalid. You will need to contact your current registrar to provide you a new authorization code in order to re-initiate the transfer.

Transfer in Rejected

Your current registrar has rejected the transfer, or your domain is within the first 60 days of a new registration or a previous transfer.

Transfer In Domain Locked

Your domain is currently locked by your current registrar. Please contact your current registrar to unlock your domain before proceeding.

Transfer Out Pending

Your domain transfer out has been initiated with the new registrar and is currently pending.

Transferred

Your domain has successfully transferred out of 101domain.
