How to Re-initiate a Domain Transfer from Your 101domain Account

This article explains how you can re-initiate a Domain Transfer directly from your 101domain account when your domain is in Transfer In Needs Code status. This process allows you to provide a new authorization code and continue your transfer if your previous attempt was unsuccessful due to an invalid or missing code

Steps

  1. Login to your account

  2. Select the Domain Names tab

  3. Click on the domain that is currently showing the status “Transfer In Needs Code”

  1. Click on “Enter New Auth Key”

  1. On the next page, copy and paste the authorization code and click Done

  1. On the next page, you will receive a message “Transfer code has been updated and your transfer is now pending. You will be notified about any changes to your transfer status.

This will change the status of your domain to Transfer in Ready in which our Transfers Team will further assist with the transfer.

Note:

  • If you need to submit an authorization code and your domain is not in Transfer In Needs Code status, please Open a support ticket with the authorization code. Our Transfers Team will review your request and assist you further.

  • If the authorization code continues to be rejected, please contact your current registrar to request a new valid authorization code. This will help ensure your transfer can proceed smoothly
