Understanding Domain Name and Product Auto-Renewals
At 101domain, we strive to make your experience as seamless as possible. This includes ensuring the timely renewal of your domain names and products with 101domain. If your domain(s) and products are configured with the auto-renew setting = On and you have a valid credit card on file, your renewal will be automatically processed at the designated renewal time.
Here’s a breakdown of how the Auto-Renewal process works based on each of our products at 101domain.
Domain Names
Domains with registration terms of 1 year or more are automatically renewed 60 days before the expiration date. Most domain names must be registered or renewed for 1 year at a minimum, in some cases (such as .ai), the domain can only be renewed at 2 year intervals. In the case of .ai, this means that the you will be charged for the full 2 year period.
By default, your domain's auto-renewal period is set to match your initial registration period. For instance, a domain registered for 5 years will automatically renew for another 5 years. If you need to change this setting, please submit a Support Ticket to our 101domain Support Team as soon as possible.
Automatic renewal applies to all domains with the auto-renew setting = On, ensuring ample time for renewal and payment processing with the relevant registry.
