Securing a WordPress Site

Learn how to check security on a WordPress site and resolve the issues found.

This will help secure a site, but the only safe site is one that is inaccessible. We also recommend installing Wordfence. See Installing Wordfence on Your WordPress Site.

Steps

  1. Login to the Plesk Panel and click WordPress

  2. Click the Security button

  3. Click the Check Security button

  4. Click the > to expand details

  5. Review the security issues found and click the check box next Security Measures to select all

  6. Click the Secure button

  7. You have successfully resolved the security issues found
