What is the process for implementing OnDMARC?
From initial DNS setup and sender identification to policy enforcement and continuous monitoring, OnDMARC simplifies each step for robust security of your domain.
The implementation of OnDMARC follows five phases: Preparation, Discovery, Configuration, Protection, and Monitoring.
Preparation: Add all customer domains and enable Dynamic DMARC, SPF, and DKIM. This requires a one-time DNS record configuration on each domain name.
Discovery: Analyze DMARC reports to identify and classify genuine senders as assets. Reports start populating within 24 hours.
Configuration: Set up SPF and DKIM for all identified assets in scope.
Protection: Once all legitimate services pass DMARC, elevate the DMARC policy to Quarantine or Reject.
Monitoring: Establish notifications or API calls to receive important information and critical alerts without accessing the portal.
