A: Yes, for subscriptions with the Automated Snapshot backup feature your VPS is automatically backed up on a rolling 7-day basis, exported, and replicated three times within the same data center. 101domain also maintains our own automated redundant backups off-site, giving you peace of mind and easy recovery options in case of data loss or other issues.

For subscriptions without the Automated Snapshot backup feature, your subscription will only be backed up weekly to 101domain’s backup servers and stored for up to one month. You are responsible for taking and maintaining your own regular backups.

Q: Do you offer additional backup options for extra peace of mind?

A: Yes, while our Automated Backup is comprehensive and we maintain our own redundant backups off-site, we also include the Backup to Cloud Pro feature, which provides more granular control and flexibility. This includes allowing you to set an automated backup schedule to popular cloud storage providers like Amazon S3, Google Drive, Microsoft’s OneDrive, and DropBox.

Q: Can I adjust the settings of the Automated Backup service?

A: For subscriptions with the Automated Snapshot backup feature the Automated Backup of your VPS is scheduled daily, on a rolling 7-day basis, exported and replicated three times within the same data center, and cannot be changed. Additional backups may be available from earlier dates up to 1 month. However, if you need more granular control or want to back up to your own external cloud storage, you can set your own schedule with the Backup to Cloud Pro feature included with your VPS.

For subscriptions without the Automated Snapshot backup feature, an Automated Backup will not be taken of your VPS. You are responsible for taking and maintaining your own regular backups.

Q: Can I further customize Imunify360 or Cloud Linux settings?

A: While we pre-configure these for optimal security and performance, you do have access to fine-tune settings to match your specific needs. We can provide guidance if you require assistance.
