Domain Status

Domain registrations may enter any of these statuses. Read on to learn more about why your domain status has changed and what that status indicates.

Active

Your domain is registered and ready for use.

Processing

While most gTLD registries have automated processing, many ccTLDs require manual processing. Processing starts after all requirements, documentation, and information has been received. Then, your domain registration order is in line to be processed.

Registrations are often individually submitted, reviewed, and approved by our processing staff and again at the registry. It may take additional time for your registration to be activated and be live.

Each TLD extension is detailed by 101domain with a description of how long a registration may take to activate.

Steps

  1. Visit 101domain.com.

  2. From the Find your name Search, enter the TLD extension you would like to inquire about.

  3. Click Search.

  4. Scroll down to the FAQs and click "How long does it take to register my .[TLD] domain name?".

Pending Approval

The domain name you have requested is submitted to the Registry and is awaiting their approval and activation.

Other reasons your domain name may be Pending Approval are:

  • WHOIS Contact information is invalid, inaccurate, or incomplete.

  • Additional action is needed from the Registry.

  • Custom name servers were selected and they are not responding.

  • Payment was flagged for fraud and needs to be verified.

New

Your order of a domain name has not begun processing due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • Payment has not been received.

  • Your credit card payment declined.

  • Payment information is incorrect or invalid.

You can make payment by accessing your shopping cart or by locating the associated invoice.

Documents

Further documentation or information is needed to fulfill the requirements of the registry, the trustee, or 101domain.

  • You were unable to meet registration requirements or restrictions for the domain registration.

  • The domain name is restricted by the Registry or violates the domain name registration agreement.
